Great Canicross Starter Kit!

I bought this kit in VIVID orange for my very active English Pointer. Very pleased with the kit. Not only did the harness fit her perfectly but it did not chafe her sensitive skin. The belt was comfortable to wear and I liked the water bottle holder & pocket. Hikes are much more enjoyable hands free!

My dog and I are thrilled with our canicross starter kit! Not only is it well built and comfortable for both of us, it is also a great neon colour! We got it in neon yellow!
So nice to feel safe and secure while running with my super athletic, strong pulling rescue.
We love it so much we are getting an additional shorty harness and 3 in 1 lead for my fur-niece ! In vivid pink!
Can't wait to take both dogs running with me!

Short Ripstop Canicross kit was delivered quickly and accurately and fits our smaller, 33 lb Alaskan Husky (cross) snugly but well. The harness goes on and off easily (I did watch & follow the really useful fitting videos). My only concern is that we're already at the long end of the range of adjustability, but we don't expect out four year old dog to get much bigger; the whole point is to exercise her and our son, and the harness offers good flexibility for running & scooter jöring (some extra rig may be required to clear wheels, etc.).
I'd expected the collapsible water bowl to open a bit bigger, but It works fine and our dog likely just needs to get used to it (and thirsty enough).
The material is much lighter than I'd expected, but this is an advantage as long as it wears as well as it's advertised to, and I made my purchase on the advice of the professional sledders at Mountain Man Adventures in Sun Peaks, so I have confidence it is a proven product.
My only suggestions for improvement would be an easier belt adjustment between the extremes when switching between a smaller and larger owner: it's a bit fiddly relative to the strap closures we are accustomed to on out MEC gear.

I love this starter kit, everything fits as it should and the vivid pink makes night running much safer. my only complaint was that although all the other cutoff points were burned one was not and was unraveling when I got it however I just burnt it and it is perfectly alright. I love the craftsmanship and and especially impressed with the bungee leash. the running belt is also very comfortable and the bottle holder is well designed. all in all an excellent product.
