1. LOVE our canicross kit!

   After discovering that my rescue pup is a eurohound x greyhound, I stumbled upon canicross and other pull-related dog sports. Since Stanley LOVES to run I figured we had to try it out. Both Stanley and I LOVE the canicross kit. It's comfortable for both of us and while I find the bungee line a bit long for running streetside, its perfect for trail running. If you are running with your dog for the first time using this kit, I recommend teaching your pup verbal cues at a slow pace before getting into full on running.
   
   Canadog offered fabulous customer service and helped us choose the right colour and size kit. Thank you Canadog!

2. Canicross starter kit

   I have snowshoe run with Karli, our 5 month old siberian a couple of times now.Having my hands free while going through the forest trails is definately safer, and I feel more balanced. Karli doesnt seem to pull so violently as she did when on the collar & lead.The harness and waist belt are very good quality and fit quite comfortably on myself and Karli. My only issue is the lead section close to the dog. Being made from a polyprop type material, it has already started to fray, due to catching small bushes and trees, but this can easily be replaced. Overall I am very impressed with the kit.

3. Not just for pulling, amazing control and training tool

   This harness is not only of very high build quality it helped changed the behavior of our dog. Being part husky our dog had a tenancy to want to pull when walking. She is a VERY high energy dog. With a lot of training we had almost worked the not to pull when walking. First we started using this harness for pulling activities; bike, long-board etc. not enough snow yet for Skijoring, looking forward to this later this season. It works amazingly, the dog had tons of fun as did we. Then I decided to try using this harness for walking. It was a very easy transition and the dog learned to not pull when walking as we had already established commands for when to pull. She actually pulls less in the harness than when clipped into the collar when walking.
   Walking hands free is huge plus, especially when walking two dogs.
   
   The only issue I have had with this harness is when the dog sees a rabbit or squirrel when walking... They are now in a harness designed for pulling, takes a lot of control if they start to charge. The plus in this situation is it is very unlikely they will get out of the harness, unlike a collar that can be easy to slip. Training and changing direction is working.
   
   I would highly recommend this kit to anyone.
   
   Customer service from Canadog was also amazing, they answered all my questions and even made a slight modification to the harness.

4. Upgrading to 5 stars from last review - At last, much better control of "crazy" dog!

   I just recently received this kit and the first couple of hikes with my very "exhuberant" Samoyed were a bit stressful as my dog kept on pulling me right, left and center, and I guess I didn't trust the kit 100%, i.e, I was afraid the line would break and that my dog would run away.
   
   However, six hikes later and things are getting much better! My dog is getting used to the idea that he can pull without having to throw me off the ground, and he is starting to understand basic commands such as "go" and "stop". Moreover, I am now feeling 100% secure with the kit, i.e., not afraid anymore that it might break. It is made very stronly and practically unbreakable!
   
   To make a long story short, I am quite impressed with the quality of the product, belt, harness and all. I can't believe how comfortable the belt is around hips or waist, and my Nouka seems to really enjoy his beautiful red harness. My boyfriend tried the kit today and he was quite impressed by the comfort and the quality of this product as well.
   
   With lots of patience and TLC, Nouka and I are becoming a better hiking team, thanks to our nice Canicross sport kit!
   
   I will certainly order again from Canadog since I intend to train my Samoyed on a Kicksled for the coming winter.
   
   A big thanks to Shelley also for her prompt replies to my numerous emails prior to ordering my kit.

5. High quality product

   I ordered this kit on October 11 and received it October 27! Long way from BC to Northern Quebec I suppose...
   
   This Canicross sport starter kit is very well made and the red color looks very good on my all white Samoyed.The belt feels very comfortable around my hips and protects the back against the pulling of the dog.
   
   However, I guess I had my hopes too high up as I thought that this would finally help me control my "crazy" Samoyed who almost pulls me to the ground every time he sees a squirrel or even a bird. But no!!! Just tried the kit on him as soon as it came out of the box and went for a quick hike but it was not any better than with the other harnesses that I have bought for him so far (one from the US and even one from Australia)...
   
   The problem is not with the kit. This kit probably works wonders for well trained pulling dogs but I really don't know what is left to try now for me and my crazy Samoyed!
   
   Would recommend but you need to have very good control of your dog!

6. Great quality product.

   Very happy with our purchase and would order from Canadog again. The harness is very well made and extremely light weight. The best part of the purchase though would have to be the exceptional customer service which is so hard to come by these days. Canadog goes above and beyond :)

7. Best leash system ever

   I just bought the canicross deluxe starter kit, I love it. I used it for the first time this morning and usually I am pulling my dog along, but she ran just in front with pride. She loved the harness right away, and by not pulling at her neck, she must of felt very comfortable. We had the best run ever. I wasnt sure what to purchase but the support I received from the people at Canadog was great. Thank you for created this product.

8. Great for my malamute!

   My mom got this great new toy today in the mail and we had the most fun run ever! For once, I was allowed to pull to my hearts content, and my person seemed really confortable the whole time, and the pulling was really gentle because of the bungee part of the leash. The harness fit me perfectly too and was comfortable and easy to adjust and I wasn't scared of it. It did not require any training at all to train my person to run with me with this Canicross starter kit, and we ended up running longer and faster than usual because I was doing half the pulling, which is great because I'm a malamute and it's in my nature to pull. Thanks for making such a great (and Canadian) product.

   Had to call Canadog to make sure I was ordering the right product for my dog. People at Canadog are very kind and helpful. Products are made durable and well thought out.

10. Great Gear! for all types of running!

    excellent gear! thank you. I have been contemplating how to manage my Aussie! who seems to think he should be a sled dog...I am thrilled with how easily he accepted the Canicross harness. The belt is equally comfortable & extremely well made. so durable!Previously, I disliked carrying a water bottle around my waist when running BUT this belt is really comfortable. A good buy-thank you!
